Do you know of somebody interested in learning more about Regnum Christi? Our Discernment Series provides women who want to learn more about Regnum Christi to prayerfully discern if they have a call from God to join our spiritual family. This course is aimed at those who have already been introduced to Regnum Christi in some way: either through contact with a friend or relative or perhaps through one of our events or apostolates.
Every day we face decisions, big and small, about life (school, career, work, relationships), priorities and goals, how to spend our time, what to pay attention to and what to put off for another day.
How do we make these choices? How do we weigh competing values? Everything in this world is presented to us so that we can know God more easily and make a return of love more readily.
Thus, our only desire and our one choice should be this:
I want, and I choose, what will give the most glory to God and be expressive of my own deepest self — my authentic self.

The Discernment Series is four meetings via Zoom as well as in person on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM EST.

Why a Discernment Series?

The first stage of Regnum Christi formation is what we refer to as discernment, and it occurs prior to joining the Movement, "after someone has had contact with Regnum Christi, has felt a certain attraction to going deeper, and have begun to explore it... The primary objective in the discernment phase is to respond accurately and generously to the question:
'Is God inviting me to join Regnum Christi?'" (Our Formation Pathway, by Fr. Bartunek, LC, pg 46).

Living the Mystery of Christ and Making it Present in our World so His Kingdom
Comes in Hearts and in Society: a Personal Call Shared with OthersOur newly approved Statutes have a chapter called “Foundation of the Regnum Christi Federation.” This is where you find the purpose and mission of Regnum Christi — in other words, the reason it exists. Moved by the desire to keep growing in our understanding of the gift of our charism — with mind and heart — we offer these reflections as a resource to delve deeper into how our vocation is fundamentally an invitation to let the mystery of Christ transform our life and allow Him to continue His mission through us. We propose starting with number 8 of the Regnum Christi Statutes as a key interpretative passage.
