Following the teachings of the Church, First Fruits compiles 12 Guiding Principles of family life. Participants will enjoy meeting together, forming friendships, and finding the support and community they need during the challenging life stage of early parenthood. In First Fruits, they will find a strong community of families who live a vibrant Catholic family life and embrace the universal call to holiness.

Groups gather together to watch three short videos ... - A Legionary priest explains what God’s story reveals about the guiding principles
- Lay people share their personal experiences of discovering the same principle in their own family.
- A case study of a real-life example of how that guiding principle is lived in day-to-day family life.

After each clip they ... - Reflect personally.
- Converse with their spouse (if applicable).
- Share with the small group.

Our hope throughout the program is ... - The group will grow in unity through meaningful discussion and true experiences of communion.
- Participants will have a faith-based experience that strengthens their confidence as parents, inspires them to embrace their call to holiness, and allows them to experience the joy of living God’s plan for their family.
- Over time, they will come to discover their own story—one being written within their family, alongside God.
